Get your Lash Extensions at a Reputable Trained Salon
When it comes to extensions, you get what you pay for! Going cheap can result in either poorly applied, stuck together natural lashes or infected lashes. So please, only go to reputable, well-reviewed salons and NO Groupons ever!
These are you eyes ladies, and you only get one set of lashes a lifetime. Remember your eyelashes serve nature by protecting your eyes from the environment. We need our lashes so take care of them and choose your lash artist wisely.
When making an appointment, ask the salon about the ingredients in the lash adhesive they use. If they can’t answer your question, cancel the appointment. I’ve literally seen salons use aircraft or nail glue for a set of lashes. You run all kinds of risks not checking up on the salon you make an appointment at.

Lash Extensions Cost Money
In Seattle, a basic set (typically 70 to 80 lashes per eye) can range anywhere from $100 to $250 plus tip, which is usually another 20 percent. And because eyelashes grow and eventually fall out every season, you’ve got to go back every few weeks for fill-ins, which can cost anywhere from $65-$125, depending on how many new lashes you need.
Remember if you are trying to save money and go longer between fill-ins, the more lashes you’ll need to replace, and the more it will cost you! If you return with less than 40% of your lashes your technician might only do a brand new lash set, which obviously won’t be cheap.

Comb Your Lashes Everyday
Lashes can get tangled when you’re sleeping or showering, so please gently brush your lashes with a clean spoolie brush after you shower, and at the end of the day. To give you the best results, brush them only when they are dry. Wet Extensions are heavier and you will lose more by brushing them when wet, rather than dry.
Keep lashes dry
Eyelash adhesives vary in the time they take to cure, so it’s important that you’re gentle with your lashes and make sure that no water touches them for 24 hours. After 24 hours you have to wash your lashes daily. Naturally, our eyelids produce oil and skin flakes, so we need to keep them clean by washing them away. You will be given a world-renowned lash wash called Fresh Start at your initial lash set appointment which you must use DAILY. Clean lashes mean Better retention and healthier natural lashes.
Do Not Wear Mascara
Kim doesn’t recommend using mascara with lash extensions. Why? Because when you attempt to take the mascara off at the end of the day, you can actually can damage the adhesive bond and shorten the longevity of the Extensions. Avoid using cream-based eyeliner formulas, as they often contain oils and waxes that can break down lash adhesive as well.
